Cassils (they/them) is a transgender artist who makes their own body the material and protagonist of their performances. Cassils's art contemplates the history(s) of LGBTQI+ violence, representation, struggle, and survival. For Cassils, performance is a form of social sculpture: drawing from the idea that bodies are formed in relation to forces of power and social expectations. A USA Fellow, Guggenheim Fellow, and a Creative Capital Fellow, Cassils investigates historical contexts to examine the present moment.

féi hernandez (they/them) is an Inglewood-raised immigrant trans non-binary visual artist, writer, and healer from Chihuahua, Mexico. féi is an Advisory Board Member of Gender Justice LA and was an artist for Forward Together’s 2019 Trans Day of Resilience Campaign. They are a Co-Founder of ING Fellowship, a mentorship to Inglewood youth, a femmetor for Seeds of Liberación leadership development program for young (TGI) people in LA, and a certified Reiki and Akashic Records practitioner.
