Venice Arts is a non-profit arts organization whose mission is to ignite, expand, and transform the lives of Los Angeles’ low-income youth through photography and film education, and to use our participatory storytelling practices to amplify the voices of underrepresented communities around the world.

Venice Arts seeks a part-time (20 hours) Lead Photographer whose primary responsibility is to teach in its award- winning Art Mentoring and Education Program, with an assignment of four academic year classes and one Summer Media Arts Camp class.

Open Position: Part-Time Photo Editor for MLB

Major Responsibilities

• Monitor and answer photo requests as they come in on a nightly basis from MLB.com editorial staff and Clubs.

• Update the MLB.com homepage and MLB Photos Landing Page photos.

• Crop, tone, caption and upload photos to the MLB photo stream and team streams.

• Created news-oriented photo streams as needed.

• Live edit (crop, tone and caption to MLB style) photos submitted from MLB freelance photographers, upload to archive and Getty Images.

• Communicate with MLB Photos department the timings of the live edit games through the Drawbridge application.

• Edit existing games in MLB Photos archive.

Open Position: Art Director - Mens Photo

PACSUN is looking for an Art Director. The Art Director is responsible for the successful execution of monthly Asset Photoshoots from concept to final retouched imagery. The Art Director is the key point person for styling and directing monthly asset photoshoots, communicating editorial image standards and guidelines related to selects, retouching as well as the distribution of brand imagery. The Associate Art Director also works closely with the Post Production team in maintaining consistency in all editorial imagery through to the final customer-facing uploaded imagery. The Associate AD supports the creative director in larger campaign execution from concept through final retouched imagery.

Our client has opened a new photo studio/Global Brand Imaging studio near Culver City, CA and is looking for photo retouchers, with experience doing e-Commerce product photo retouching. THESE POSITIONS ARE ON SITE IN THE STUDIO AND CANNOT BE DONE REMOTELY! NO PHOTOGRAPHERS, PLEASE! - ONLY RETOUCHERS!

You must be great with Photoshop. You must have e-Commerce retouching experience, working on product photography.

Open Position: Cinematographer / Director of Photography for LA Clippers

The LA Clippers are looking for a Cinematographer to join their Digital Video team. Cinematographer will lead all video acquisition - film all games, practices, interviews and off-court events. In this role you will work closely with the Director of Production to come up with a consistent look and feel for all video projects and implement that look to all in house videographers and freelancers.

To be highly considered for this role, you should be a storyteller at heart with experience shooting documentaries, a reel showing sports cinematography and camera operation in a live sports environment, post-production and editing proficiency, and able to execute scripted and unscripted content.

Tribune News Media Company is looking for a News Photographer / Editor. Candidate will be responsible for editing and visual coverage of news events in a fair, unbiased and accurate manner. Photographs news events, both live and to digital file, for news events and programs. Edits material to match script prepared by reporter, producer or associate producer using in-house or field locations as needed. Works with reporter to get complete stories and makes suggestions on how a story should be produced. Keeps assigned equipment and/or vehicle in good working condition and files all required paperwork. Ability to set-up remotes to allow transmission of digital file feeds or live-from-the-field reports back to the station.
