Led by Community Partners, Bridges to Inclusion facilitators, Drs Kimberly Austin and Sofia Vergara, in collaboration with Human Resources. With the emergence of Covid-19, our new virtual work and learning places have given our mobility-challenged community more access to programming, events and education than ever before, but how is it effecting our neurodiverse and learning-disabled community? We will learn this and more in this 2.5 hour workshop for staff, faculty and students.
The (identical) workshop sessions will cover:

· Defining terms
· Categories
· Medical/social Models
· Disability Rights Movement
· Etiquette
· Challenges in Remote Learning for the Student and Faculty
· Best Practices for Supporting Students in Remote Learning
· Introduction to Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
· Specific Strategies
The sessions will include a Q & A as well as use of chat function for immediate questions.
