Love photography? Have a passion for working with kids and teens? Pablove Shutterbugs, the signature arts program of The Pablove Foundation, teaches children living with cancer to develop their creative voice through the art of photography. We are currently seeking Volunteer Mentors in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Orange Counties with experience in photography.

Volunteer Mentors play an integral role in working with children and teens living with cancer by providing lessons in photography that cover fundamental concepts and techniques. Learning photography concepts alongside other kids undergoing similar experiences empowers our students to express themselves, exercise their independence, and practice new ways of seeing – all while having fun! Lessons are provided to pediatric cancer patients ages 6-18 years old each week at their home and in a classroom setting. There is no cost for students to participate in this program.

Mentors are paired one-on-one with a student and will help them grow artistically by encouraging them to practice and develop their creative eye. Volunteer mentors will also receive extensive training about working with families affected by cancer and will follow a basic photography curriculum established by Pablove Shutterbugs.
