Alumni Barbara DuMetz and Everard Williams, ArtCenter’s Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer Aaron Bruce, as well as video producer Elizabeth Gray Bayne explore the purpose and meaning of ArtCenter’s Black Alumni Exhibition 90/300 with KTLA Morning News.

This informative interview explores the iconography of Barbara DuMertz’s Coca Cola advertisement of 1984. Aaron Bruce explains the inspiration behind a black alumni exhibition and what 90/300 represents in ArtCenter’s 90 year history.

Everard Williams discusses his role as photographer and an Associate Professor with ArtCenter’s Photography and Imaging department. Elizabeth Gray Bayne introduces her short documentary Impact 300, a series of alumni interviews and their experiences as black artists.

In commemoration of ArtCenter’s 90th anniversary, the Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, in partnership with ArtCenter DTLA, 90/300 is a series of exhibitions and programs honoring the achievements of the College’s Black alumni. This exhibition is open from February 13 to March 13, 2020.
