About the Photography Studio Team
You will be part of our in-house Photography Studio team responsible for delivering photography assets to the web, catalog, retail, and marketing teams. Our job is to ensure that every product is photographed to the highest standards, in a consistent style and all assets are delivered on time.
About the Ecom Photo Producer Role
The Ecom Producer will manage the production and workflow of our ECOM studio. They will work closely with our in-house photographer and other members of the photography/warehouse team. This role will support the communication of creative requirements and timelines to internal and cross functional partners to ensure we are producing industry leading assets for our e-commerce site and meeting production deadlines.
Responsibilities
Manage the daily logistics of the digital studio photography.
Lead the daily photo studio schedule workflow, and perform administrative responsibilities relevant to staff personnel.
Create and manage daily and weekly shot lists for Silo and Simple Lifestyle Photography
Supervise merch coordinator & work closely with Photo sample coordinator in the execution of the daily/weekly shot lists while identifying merchandise/sample issues, troubleshooting and resolving daily issues.
Ability to anticipate and manage set production needs when they arise including sample issues, coordinating set needs, and schedule adjustments.
Partner with Photographer on the daily/weekly shot list to group similar categories together as much as possible in order to maximize efficiencies on set, grouping together product categories and set execution.
Publish monthly production calendar to ensure on time delivery of assets to our cross department teams (web, marketing, retail)
Work with Retoucher to ensure post production (ie. proper file naming and retouching) for on time delivery of assets.
Partner with photo team regularly, ensure the department's technology needs are met for project management tools (ie. AirTable, Web Dam)
Manage one Merch Coordinator and/or independent contractor support when needed.
Assist Sr. Photo Manager with monthly budget forecast and ensuring we stay on budget.
Communicate trends and areas needing improvement to Photo & Creative Managers for assesment and follow through.
Criteria
3-5 years photo production experience
Experience managing photography production studio while working with photographers and production staff
Understanding of post production software, hardware and development process
Detail-oriented and self-motivated
Flexible, agile and team-focused
Familiar with brands and merchandise preferred
Superior project management skills
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams
Strong interpersonal and management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and to be highly organized
A background in digital photography is desired
