JOB OVERVIEW
The Junior Studio Photographer is responsible for will assisting the Senior Studio Photographer in all shooting and editing functions including layout and production, image retouching, photo editing, optimizing images for web and social media etc. These projects include, but are not limited to, grid layouts for social and email, setting up studio, editing on and off model product photos.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform photo editing / retouching for web, social and print
Produce on-brand designs for all media
Facilitate studio set-up (i.e., lighting and programs) based on day-to-day activities
Support the photography of products and models (in studio)
Support the management of photo assets and archives
Attend creative meetings and provide input and ideas
Maintain studio organization
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Proficient in Microsoft Applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Proficient in Capture One
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; Bridge and Photoshop
Proficient in Canon cameras
Proficient in studio lighting
Ability to coordinate, communicate and adhere to deadlines / schedules
Ability to effectively prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong photo editing and production skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
Minimum 1 year studio photography experience, apparel preferred
